5. IP-Based Geolocation for Regional Pricing

We use a local IP geolocation database (MaxMind GeoLite2-Country) to detect your approximate country of origin, solely to display prices in the currency and pricing tier applicable to your region. Your IP address is processed exclusively on our server via a local database file — it is not transmitted to MaxMind or any third party, and is not stored beyond the duration of the page request (standard server logs per Section 2 notwithstanding). The detected region can be changed at any time via the country selector on the pricing page. This processing is based on our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in displaying regionally appropriate pricing in compliance with the EU Geo-Blocking Regulation 2018/302.
